 New Employee Training Manuals

The New Employee Training Manual is a competency-based, educational document that was created to assist new juvenile probation officers in learning the basic information and skills required to perform their duties.  The manual is designed to ensure juvenile probation officers know what is necessary to deliver quality services to the juveniles, families, victims, and communities they serve.  The manual is broken into the following six sections: 1) Professionalism; 2) Case Management; 3) Court Responsibilities; 4) Documentation; 5) Communication; and 6) Safety.  A similar manual also exists for new supervisors.
